Frequently Asked Questions
What is the live USDT/INR P2P rate today?
The live USDT/INR P2P rate is updated every 60 seconds from cleaned merchant ads across Binance, Bybit, OKX, HTX and more. OpenRate removes outlier, stale, and low-quality listings before calculating the best buy and sell prices.
Why is the USDT/INR P2P rate different from the spot rate?
P2P rates include a premium or discount versus the global spot rate. The premium reflects local demand, banking friction, and merchant margin in India. A positive premium means USDT costs more locally than the global exchange rate.
What does the USDT/INR premium mean?
The premium is how much more (or less) buyers pay for USDT in the local Indian Rupee market versus the global spot price. A 3% premium means ₁₀₀ USDT costs 3% more than its spot equivalent in Indian Rupee.
How does OpenRate clean USDT/INR ads?
OpenRate fetches raw P2P ads from 9 exchanges and removes outliers (ads priced more than 3 standard deviations from the median), stale ads (not refreshed recently), ads with insufficient merchant history, and ads with prices that don't make economic sense. Only cleaned ads are used to calculate best buy/sell prices.
OpenRate displays cleaned P2P marketplace data. Extreme outlier ads, stale listings, low-liquidity ads, and low-quality listings may be excluded. Exchange names are used for market identification only. OpenRate is not affiliated with the listed exchanges. Rates and estimates do not guarantee execution.
